Insed GmbH is Now Chief Enterprises Europe (CEDE)

In August 2023, Chief Enterprises acquired Insed GmbH, based in Ubstadt-Weiher, Germany. The company now operates as Chief Enterprises Europe (CEDE).

This change aligns the business with the wider Chief Enterprises group and expands access to product lines, engineering resources, and supply chain capabilities. CEDE will continue to serve existing customers while expanding support for industrial and electric vehicle markets across Europe.

What Changes

The company has been renamed, but the core team, quality standards, and operations remain in place. Customers will benefit from:

• Continued distribution of Honeywell Sensing & IoT, Test & Measurement, FEMA, and Aerospace
• Local assembly of custom Honeywell sensor solutions
• Faster turnaround with local stock and warehousing
• Integration with Chief’s BRIC power distribution range and partner products

Founded in 2001, Insed was an authorised distributor of Honeywell products for more than 20 years. The company specialised in tailored sensor solutions and supported OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across Europe. Its capabilities included technical consultation, custom sensor assembly, end-of-line testing, and maintaining a high level of inventory availability. All of these services remain part of Chief Enterprises Europe’s offering today.
